Hey i know it's most likely been covered before, but i'll ask again anyways.
I'm interested in supercharging my TP, from what i've read you need to modify the air con bracket and run a pipe (to TB or EFI?) but my main question is what type of SC to get sc14, 1gaze(?)
any info would be hot!

Any dyno results with the sc14 ? I have an sc14 sitting and am planning to install it but keep the AC.
Also, is it loud on the magna ? because on my brothers commie its REALLY loud.

Oh we all want a supercharger! But I start to see the pointless side of it all.

so what... its a car.. and its his car.. as long as you, the person doing it, see's a point in doing it... its always worth doing. Being an individual is better than being like everyone else in their turbo s13 or something.

Don't get me wrong, I would love a turbo, but I would find more sence in trying to get a V6 into the TP.
I did have a good point, but I forgot it after I watched this:

Trying to get a V6 into a TP would be pretty expensive and hard. Alot easier to turbo or charge it imo.
BTW, that vid has been discussed here before and it turns out that it could be fake because of how a leaf blower works.

Didn't the NZ version run on a 6?

Now I think about it it would be better to run the super/turbo because if you were to go for a bigger engine everything would have to be changed, upto about the ignition.

The 1st gen was sold as V3000 (3.0L V6) in NZ. Apparently they werent too bad either, id suggest seeing if you can find one thats been smashed from behind and ripping whats useable out of that. Probably involves calls to NZ though and maybe getting something sent over which may outweigh the benefit of doing it, maybe a TR 3.0 engine?
Which makes me wonder, why does Australia always get the crappy lower powered models of everything?
