Ok well this is mainly to 1st genners! But anybody feel free to input.

Now we all knoe Paul (TUFFTR) did his letterbox grill and it looks ****hot. Well i saw this on Fastmagna.com. Look at the grill. Can this be done?

Also any views/opinons as in 'would look great' 'if i see that i will hit you' ect ect. Thanks all!

It'll be tricky to do that to a TP as the grill is part of the metal panel that fits across the top infront of the bonnet.

Might be easier (maybe cost more to spray panel some colour) to use a TM panel piece and modified grill (as it's 2 pieces instead of 1)

ah well to each his own...

yes, this is very possible. tig welder, 4 inch grinder, some putty bog, measuring tools and paint. Could do it in half a day. We did a similar repair job last year.

looks like a photo shop job or a very quick *** job and the person didnt care on quality

and as Phonic said it would be hard to do to a TP but not imposible

i think it looks good something diffrent to the normal frount

i reckon hes spot on...probably need the angle grinder and some bog.....looks like the only way its gonna happen

i say u'd need a drill, angle grinder, file, sand papaer, bog, and something good to measure with.......it would be alot easier with the 2 piece grille, but it shouldnt be that hard on the 1 piece if you have a good eye and steady hand

i think it'd look better if it was the 2 piece, the 1 piece seems good, but it doesnt really suit the 1st gen body style without a bodykit or at least colour coding

well i recon it would look better if u just took the 2 plastic inserts and put mesh behind that. first of all it would be easyer and i think look better as well. it just looks like the hole that the mesh is covering is to big. or u could just go to the wreckers and buy a tn nose and grill then just moddify the grill part if u know what i mean.
