G'day guys,
I've just spent a fair bit of money on some new mags and ive got a bit of cash left over, i was just wondering everyones opinions on what are the coolest little (cheap) things are to have in your car that come in handy or look good. I've got a few things in already but i was wondering what everyone else's opinion was.
Cheers,
Adz

If you havent already, i think changing the clusteres lights to a more pure white looks nice as apposed to the yellowish standard light

This may seem a stupid question aseeing as i've done a lot of the wiring for the car audio and neons by myself, but how exactly do you get new back lighting to the dash, i was meaning to change is it looks kinda pathetic actually, as was said before its a sort of yellow tinge and doesnt go at all with the blue noens, lol. If you could help with this itd be much appriciated.

why do you wanna run more wiring to the dash for?
all you have to do is buy replacment T5 and T10 LED bulbs

Taken from rouge....

I've installed white LEDs in the cluster, looks much better, and if you have installed white headlight bulbs (ie. blue-white) they really help maintain a consistency for your eyes when driving at night (ie. not going from looking at blue-white headlights to yellow-white dials and back).
I got mine from ebay, from a certain supplier in Hong Kong, best value I could find. Don't know if we're allowed to recommend specific sellers in the forums, just search for "T5 LED" and T10 LED", you'll soon find the one I mean. You'll need 2x T5, 4x T10.

You might want to investigate wreckers, see how much they charge for the bits you are planning on spraying(?), that way you can work on those pieces, still drive around in the meantime, and if you stuff up then no harm done.

There are brushed aluminium cluster bezels on ebay.com (US one), but the thing I noticed is that they have an additional hole for the odometer reset, whereas ours are in the middle of the speedo. I asked them, and they won't make a changed version. Search for "diamante bezel", or something like that.
