Just trying to find out if a set of Awd extractors will fit onto my Manual TH Sports, anyone have any idea? If not, what would require mods (to the headers not the car)to make them fit?
Thanks in advance.
Luke

Why would you fit AWD extractors? What's wrong with yours?

Well from the for sale post, I was led to believe they were extractors/headers not just a std manifold. As it said AWD Extractors For Sale.

headers/extractors/manifold are really just different names for the same thing....

They technically are called exhaust manifolds regardless of design. Headers / extractors are just terms that are used to differentiate normal exhaust manifolds from specifically designed ones.

The AWD ones will be of a similar design to the FWD ones. I'm not sure that they are the same (a part number should confirm that) but they won't offer any increase in performance over the FWD ones.

something like they are a different shape to clear other AWD compenents...(hence ralliart headers wont fit on an AWD)...but they are of no benefit over standard ones.

That's what I thought however Ralliart ones should fit. At least, Dunkerton's and Taylor's AWD's had them fitted with no issues.
