why will they wear out? sorry if thats a dumb question....

Also, do i need bump stops or whatever theyre called? cos when they lowered my TR i kept having my front struts die, until i took it somewhere else and they said i needed to have bump stops installed....

no idea if you need the bump stops:S

but if you plan to keep the car for a while.....new shockies will be the way to go, only thing is, it almost triples your budget from just springs ($200ish) to almost $600ish with shockies.

when was the last time you had them changed? are they still rigid? are they soft like butter?
mine were softER then butter so no use keeping those......

mins on superlows front with KYB's and no problems yet, just gotta hammer out the front gaurd when i cbf'd.

well u dont have to put in new struts but id recomend u do other wise if u get into a dangerous situation they wont perfom the way u need. also they will probably bottom out a fair bit. as for bump stops, what they are, is a rubber stopper that sits on top of ur strut which will be under the rubber boot. when i replaced all my suspenion i also bought a bump stop kit for each corner and it made the ride alot more comfortable and they cost me $44 for the front and $55 for the back. also stops the suspenion bottoming out and damaging any other suspenion or steering components. but if uve changed the bump stops not to long ago then i wouldn't worry about it. good luck:D
