ok well ive done a seach before asking and didn't find out what i needed to know.
i want to put speakers in and i don't know how . im a noob when it comes to anything audio so bear with me.
now i know how to crimp, heat shrink, and do solidering and i know where i want them but i have no clue where or what in supossed to wire them in too.
now its a stock stereo in a tp exec, and no i dont need anything else cos ive got a mp3 player with a FM tuner so i just need a radio to pick it up and can change the music whenever cos ive got about 11 000 songs on my computer.
its not for me cos im the type of person who likes to drive without music so i can hear the cars engine. but the gf goes nuts without anything.
ive already changed to speakers in the dash for some 4'' rockford fosgate ones (that was easy cause i just disconnected them and reconnected the fosgate ones).
not even sure what the other ones ive got are, 2 of em are 4'' , 2 6'' and 2 6/9's splits i think ,no real brands there but anythings better than no sound. and i dont need to win any comps or anything so what i got will do and they were free anyways.
so pulling out the interior + dash is no prob seeing as ive done it a few times.
so where do i connect the new wires from the speakers too.
any help would be great seeing as i dont know anything on the subject
oh and plz keep it as simple as possible im still a noob to this.
cheers in advance for any help:D

I'm confused, you've already put the speakers in and are trying to rewire them?
If i was you i'd just keep the stock wiring, should do alright. Or am i missing something here?

i dont understand what the problem is but remember you have to rewire all the speakers in 1st gens (unless you have an elite) because all the speakers share the same negitive wire, and new headunits wont cope with this

and don't whatever you do cut the steel, bend the steel, puncture the steel in the parcel shelf.

ok i'll make it more simple this time.
ive got a 1990 tp executive with the factory stock radio and two 4'' speakers wired to it.
i want to wire in atleast 4 more speakers to the stock radio.
i know where i want the speakers and how to connect the speakers to the new wire.
but i dont know where to connect the new speakers to get sound from them. as in i know where the 2 existing speakers wires go (to the back of the stock radio) but i dont know how to add on 4 more, if i was to guess i would have stripped back part of the two already existing speaker wires then soildered the 4 other speakers to that , if u get my drift.
and as for wiring diagrams i have them too but they makes no sense when i look at them cos i dont know what im suposed to be looking for.
thats why i ask can anyone tell me how to wire 4 more speakers.
im really out of my element here thats way i also said go easy cos i have no clue. audio just draws blanks for me. soory if im not making alot of sense.

If it draws blanks for you, should you really be doing it?
Anyway....Yes you can splice into your existing wires, infact without replacing the headunit this is all you'll be able to do. Expect the sound quality to be very very bad though.

although i think your doing something very very wrong
go and get a Sony 2 channel amp about ~$90 use the high input connecters and connect them to the existing speaker wiring and then put your new speakers in off the amplifer, only thing then is you have to mount and get power to the amp, if you have speakers in the parcelshelf already the speaker wiring is easy to the amp only have to worry about the power.
personally i would replace everything even if it was only with a cheap headunit for $100 or something like that but i guess thats up too you

Not even, you dont need an amp. Getting a headunit with 4 channel output is all you need, maybe cost you 100 bucks. I know you're not interested in the sound, but i'm guessing your stock deck is only 2 channel, and if you were to run 6 speakers (3 per channel) it would sound horrible as it's max output per channel is probably somewhere around the 20w mark. Divide that by 3, you're running 7w MAX into each speaker, i think even the old pc speakers have a better rating than that lol!

True True Either way about $100 will cover you getting some more sound out of your system
take a look at this there is a reasonable head unit for what you want and for only $98 which would be good for what you want or a sony/pioneer one for 150 if you want to spend a bit more

all depends on what you want it to sound like and how much your willing to spend to get what you want

Or if you are really stingy with your audio, go on ebay and pick up a cheap 2nd hand cd player. Can pay anywhere between $20-$50. My old Sanyo that i paid $200 for brand new 3 years ago is now on ebay for $50, that deck is still going.
