Hey everyone,

Need a bit of help which would be greatly greatly appreciated.
I changed my steering wheel on my TJ Magna, and now have a leather one with the audio controls which hook up to my factory headunit. This was all fine, but I now have a faulty clockspring. My car didnt orginally have the audio controls on the steering wheel, thus had a different clock spring.
Problem is Mitsubishi Parts needs a vin or part number so they can make sure they order the one that has audio, airbag, horn, and cruise cables to suit my current wheel.
Models with this clock spring are KL/KW Verada XI and GTVI (these has the 6 disc indash premium headunit).
Can anyone please assist with a VIN, or those in the know who can get the part number for the clock spring? I need to order it by 5pm today to get it before we have to go away.
Cheers

How much was it? I am interested as instead of audio controls you could have shift buttons.

$287 delivered. I only changed as mine was faulty. I couldn't justify it just for the audio controls, or to add shift buttons, but you might think worth it....wish there was someone on here that could get trade price:) for members????
They are very very rare second hand, as they are normally destroyed during airbag deployment in pranged cars.

wonder if you could hook up steering wheel audio controls to an aftermarket HU..? I dont have any input for that that I can think of on mine...
