Well after having the sub box loose for some time i finally started doing something about it last night.

After finishing work (Strathfield) at 5:30 i stayed behind in the workshop to run some more power cabling ready for the 2nd amp i was going to install today.

Well after going in again today on my day off to fit the amp i had a look at where to mount it and found there wasnt alot of space to mount the 2 amps side by side. So i did what any one with to much time on there hands working at a car stereo store would do.

I STARTED A FULL CUSTOM INSTALL :D hehe

Twin sub box hasnt been changed yet but i have mounted both amps on the sides of the boot on vertical panels.
Amps are now mounted but wiring needs to be finished and then i need to make the cover pannels that will sit flush with the face of the Amps.

Following that the false wall to cover the sub boxes and to make the whole boot enclosed.

Lighting is already done so with any luck it should be finished in a couple of weeks on days off and after work on thursdays

Well today wasnt the best of days :( My Gran passed away this morning and it was killing me being around everyone at home i had to take my mind off it so i went to work and did some more on my car.... Reading that might make me sound like a prick, believe me its hurting me just as much as the rest of my family. This was just my way of dealing with it.

So i pulled the pannels mounting the amps out again and modified them so i could hide all the wires.

Got the 4 channel hooked up this arvo and tuned the whole system.
Now all thats left are the false walls the flush mount the amps and the rear false wall to tie the subs in to the "box" look.

All in all im very happy with the progress.
