i was talking to a mate and his old lancer had rust in the floorpan. at this point he sold it to a wreaker. i was wondering how much would it be for a new floorpan. also a mates car got hit in the rear and there cutting out part of the floor pan and welding a new part in. my questions are is it legal to weld in a new floorpan?, would you need an engineers cert? and is it legal?

cutting out the crushed section and welding in new repair panels is the right way to do it.

The dodgy panelbeaters who only pull out the corcentina'd rails and bash them back into
