Mine's 1992 (KR) and looks nothing like that. It's in damn good condition aswell.

Its either a jap gray import or a verada fitted with imported lights, grill
and bumper. I was gonna fit a bumper exactly like that to mine as well.
But the one I found was in a different colour and the guy was willing to do
a swap for $400 (note that $300 of that was for the lights) and I did not
have the money for a repaint at the time. In hind sight. Perhaps I should
have bought it considering how much time and money was wasted looking
for and fitting my driving lights.

Looking at it again (..and again, and again) it doesn't seem to be complex and makes the car look 'phat'.

it is an aussie verada that has had a new front end either from accident or just to be different. If you look at the side view you will see the quater window behind the rear door, Diamante's do not have this

Yep. ofcourse. How could I miss that. Also the D's rear doors are longer
because they lack the rear quater window behind the rear door.

Hi, just joined the forum today, was viewing through all the Magna's forums as I have recently purchased one, but am yet to pick it up. Was browsing though this post and was shocked as I am 99% sure this is the car I have just bought!!

So, sorry for bringing up an old post, but a bit shocked here. Will be able to semi comfirm if it is the car I have just purchased or not when I get it.

I live in Bayswater just around the corner from where that car was sold.

For those still interested, it is the std Diamante front bar with a small lip on it. It is the same bar as the one I was liikong at getting for mine.

The SOHC 6g72 came with this bar
The DOHC 6g72 came with the same bar as the KR Verada

I take it that the car wasnt paid for or something, as the car is still in the Bayswater area, with the same guy I think if the guys story is right.

Wont be no cruisin for me..just glad to have a car after having my old car written off by an idiot who slammed into the back of it. Being car-less is horrible.

Do you know anything about the car?? Just curious as I things dont add up to me if the car was sold in November, as the guy said he bought it with slight damage to the front drivers side corner. He said he fixedit up etc.. So, to me that doesnt add up if it was sold in November with that front bar on it.
