Hey,
I have recently acquired a VRX kit, KJ boot and tail lights which will all be going on my TH Altera. Just need to get it all colour matched from silver to kashmir.
The only thing I'm still tossing up is whether or not to put the spoiler on that came with the boot lid. It's from a GTV, and can be seen in this thread on the black TJ sports:
http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27283&highlight=spoiler
So before i take all the gear to the paint shop, i need to decide whether or not I'm sealing up the holes from the spoiler, or getting the spoiler painted aswell.
What are peoples opinions? I know in the end it's up to me, and at the moment I'm leaning to putting it on, but just wanted to hear other people's opinions on whether the de-winged look is better on Magnas.

definately no wing. the VRX kit + KJ Boot + TH Altera front will be perfect as it is!
your mirrors should already be colourcoded, only other thing is the door mouldings would have to be done.

I'd fill up the holes and not attatch the wing. Much nicer in my opinion.

Is your car lowered?
Just keep in mind that with a wing it will appear higher in the back. I love the fat look the magnas have when the rear has been lowered, i never knew back on my TR as it was never lowered, but now that i've lowered my TJ, i would never get a spoiler.

Yup, mirrors are colour coded. Got some door mouldings from a KL with the chrome strip and door handles which will be getting done at the same time. Front has got a KH Xi chrome grille and Paras. Has been lowered with king lows, as at the time I knew the VRX kit would be going on, so was a bit worried about scraping all the time.

Yup, can't wait... i though the lowering and Para's were a big change to the looks outside, this should make it look like a totally different car.
Our cars will actually look fairly similar... the TH silver and kashmir look alike in certain lights. Some differences still though...VRX/sportswagon kits etc.
Agreed, I like the TH Altera front the best. It was again a bit of a throw up between the KH and Altera grille... in the end I couldn't resist the chrome.

I can post some pics when I get home, not too great as they're taken with my phone... was kinda waiting until everything goes on to post up some proper pics.

with my ralliart lowered i think it looks fat at the back and the wing kind looks good i think.
but it does have a different rear bar so who knows, i guess its its up to the driver. i say a verada with a VRX wing the other day, it didnt look bad
I'm going against the trend here and will say keep the wing, i still like the smaller boot spoilers.
I just find it odd that, a few years back the trend was to put spoilers on everything, now everyone that has a kit and spoiler wants to take the spoiler off, well fads come and go i guess.

I'd choose no wing.. my car has one, and it looks hot from certain angles, but it does raise the back of the car abit, i think it looks sexier without the wing. when i save up for a phat kit, i'll be taking my wing off :)
