First of all, I got quoted $300 supply and fit King Superlows (10mm drop at front, 20mm drop at back) Is that a good price?
Second of all, will I need to change my shocks at the same time? I've just replaced the rear shocks with brand new Koni Reds about 2000kms ago, will the fronts need to be changed?
Cheers.

its not that much of a drop, you wouldnt HAVE to change them.....
how old are they? how many k's have been done on em?
mine had done over 200,000ks (i see my parents valued my life dearly:doubt: ) so it was only logical and safe to get them changed.
But i dont think you would need to honestly, and yeah $300 is a top price.....

So you already have low springs or something? Because superlows lower a standard car heaps more than that. Being a ralliart your springs are lower than an exec by 10-15mm, superlows should be lowering your car by at least 45mm at the front.
$300 is a great price for supply and fitted. I paid $240 supply, takes about an hour or 2 to do.

haha took about 4.5 hrs to do my superlows all round, incl. changing shocks! thats only cause we only had pissy hand tools and had a drink/smoke break after evry bolt was un-done :D
my mate and his bro used to be able to change a whole car shocks and springs in 20mins flat...using a hoist and rattleguns

You dont throw away Koni's they get rebuilt not replaced, oh u do know there adjustable to right? You can stiffen them right up when ur getting them rebuilt. If ur gonna get rid of them though for some ungodly reason I'll gladly take them off ur hands no questions asked. To adjust them you have to have them out. For people who say there not adjustable you are idiots, ALL Koni's are adjustable, but there's to different types and 2 different ways to adjust them.

I just threw away both my rear struts and had to replace them because they were stuffed. It was cheaper to replace them ($240 each) then to get them fixed. If they don't need to be replaced then I won't replace them. My rear struts have done about 2000kms, the fronts have done what the car has done I guess (80 000)
The guy who I was talking to about the springs rang his supplier and he said that a 10mm drop at the front and a 20mm drop at the rear will be perfect for what I need (don't want it too much lower as I won't be able to get in and out of my driveway) and will make it sit nice and flat. I asked what if I wanna go lower, he said i'd have to get coilovers because the ones he's supplying are already Super Lows.
Also, I was under the impression a Ralliart is 1.5inches lower than a standard exec which would equate to about 37mm.
