Hey guys well as a few of ya know I sorta had a slight misshap today in the old verada....

so I'm after....

1x rad support (do you still have the one you told me about mal?)
1x bonnet
1x KS Verada grill
1x RH parabolic
1x front bar cover
1x front bar reinforcment

and :S whatever else I need once she gets quoted..... she's not too badly damaged

hope it doesnt end up costing u 2 much skotty.

They have an immaculate condition Burgundy KS thats just sitting in their yard, looks bloody brilliant, I can only guess its there for mechanical reasons cos it clearly aint been smashed. Give em a call and if your happy with costing PM me what you want and price and I can run around there one day and grab the parts, pay and ship to you. Then you can fix me up.

Luck has it I'm a 1st yr apprentice panel beater so yeah will do all the panel work myself.... parts I might try u pull it... allready got another set of parabolics lined up, and probally a 2nd hand grill.... and rad support well if mal can't help me shouldn't be too much.... all goes well with lights and grill TR/TS **** will do the job....

also need new condensor and radiator but go brand new for that...

Do you still have the banged-up bumper? I wouldn't mind getting hold of one to use as a basis for experimenting with body kits, but wreckers still charge $50+ for even a stuffed standard bar...

lol it was used as a table when i was painting...

includes the steel bar behind it, but no bolts...youd have to use your own ones..

I will have a set of standard ts headlights avaliable very soon (just brought a set of parras).

The drivers side one is less than 2 years old so its very clean and clear. The passenger side one is original so obviously you can see a bit of a diff between the two.

I rang a few wreckers on the weekend... $420 odd for a KS grill! I was like o_O...

oh and I'm happy :D there isn't any structal damage.... main damage on the car is rad support, grill, bonnet, radiator, battrey try, condensor, (washer bottle escaped), and sub frame by the trans tunnel.... oh and I think the lower exhasut shield is slightly bent but thats all good

and... it gets worse... my car got broken into at work... so now I need... Drivers window (not the first time its been broken into hey vlad?), dash bored, glove box... and yah... who ever broke into it knew what they were doing.... because my bonnet is bent the alarm wont go off opening the bonnet so they dissconnected the negitive battrey termnal.... and yah.... as a few of ya know I got 2x alpine type s subs in the boot.... the broke into the glove box I take it trying to find a boot realse (guy who I THINK done it usesd to own a VL so theres the logic there)... lucky for me I had the fuse for the boot relase out and it wasn't in the glove box.... and somthing is wedged in my boot lock so can't unlock it with a key :rant: real ****** act if ya ask me.... one would think ya car is safe locked up at work....

Still pretty steep for just a grille!

Couldn't be so lucky... the drivers side one has a broken plastic backing.... might be able to plastic weld it....

Oh, and the trans sump thingy, I'm after another one of them cause I dented mine.... dunno what regencey would think of that...

**** man you must love that car sounds like a write off to me gunna cost you heaps for parts. anyone got rough prices on what they paid for a ks grille just outa interest?

Mine cost me about $45, but that was when I got parras from the same place. Don't know how much they would want separately. From Any Jap Spares, north of Brissy.

Nah it's not that bad.. car still sells for around 6 - 7k for a stock KS XI I've seen around adelaide, and well I've been told if I was to put it thru as a paying job at work I would be lookin at around 4k...
