Pacemaker Headers, High Flow Cat & Redback Exhaust......Sounds bloody brilliant, very impressed - $1150 Installed.

MASSIVE Flat Spot between 1500-2500rpm. Getting Newcastle Magna Club "Dodgy Broz Workshop" to install Barrys fuel rail kit on Sunday, and from all reports this should help significantly. EDIT: Fuel Rail kit corected this issue. Recommend getting one! Thanks Barry.

Thanks to everybody for your help in choosing a nice setup (I read the 10,000 other threads about exhausts instead of making another one that would be filled with the same info).

Greatly Appreciated. Cheers.

Just out of interest, with the 'dead spot' is it possible that its no worse than it was but because the upper RPM have a big(ish) increase it makes it feel like a dead spot?

Havent really nailed it yet to feel the true power of it. Just very sluggish cruising between 1500-2500 and car doesnt accelerate, have to hammer the accelerator to get the speed rising.

I have also experienced a flat spot with my Redback system. My main difference to yours is that i dont have extractors but i do have custom made equal length engine pipes... My flatspot is @ 1500 to 2500 as well. It hauls hard when you are giving it to it but the flatspot can become tiring because you have to drive around it all the time.

Weird. I never got that "flatspot" when my extractors and zorst were done. Tho, I run an oval pod + EZBoys pod box, no filter. I heard that the "flatspot" comes when you have a filter?

Well dur. I should of been more specific perhaps and said I have a pod filter and I think the "flatspot" is more prone to panel filters.
