I am thinking about getting an old TP elite, possibly just getting all the parts from a wrecker, and merging it with my exec so I get all the features of the elite (power windows, cruise, digi dash).

Is there anything I should know that isn't going to work for me? I know that I will have to take the rear windows out of the elite because they are not the same, and I am going to have to get the wiring loom (or break out the custom wiring) for the power windows and cruise to work.

I will have to get a new fuel unit for the tank so the digi dash works, along with a tacho thing... With the odometer is there anyway way I can set it to the right KM's? Some type of flash tool? Mabye just sending it around the clock some how? If it is a true digital device could I just hook an osilliscope to the car and find out what type of signal it is sending, then just repeate that signal untill it goes around the clock?

Oh I have a brown interior, so unless I was going to swap the whole interior out would it be best for me to look for an elite with brown interior or are there none?

Is there anything else I need to know about?

I've seen brown elites with brown interiors. Personally i would put in a grey interior.

Find a silver elite. Thats where i got my grey bits from.

I got the loom out intact and i'll just put it in the other car when I get to it.

Its great therapy, taking out aggression and all that bull****. Helps to have air tools.

Ya hafta take out the brake booster to get the loom out becauce theres a clamp hidden behind it. The rest is pretty easy. If ya need any help or scaned manual pages gimme a yell.:D
