She may still need colour coding but she's now rolling on 18inch Bling!

I picked them up second hand - Rims & Tyres.
The rims are 18x8 XHP Boost. +35 offset.
The tyres are Federal 235/40/18. They have done approx 2000kms before I got them, so basically new.
The rims needed a bit of cleaning up. I used 'Mothers Chrome polish' and this seemed to do a good job. A couple of rims had some 'pitting' (small pimply bumps) but most of this came off with the polish and you can hardly see it now. Hopefully they will continue to improve with good care (maybe?). Anyone had this on chrome rims before?
The fronts stick out a bit. The tyre place said I could get the rear of the rims (part that sits up next to the hubs) machined down 10mm or so. But I guess that'd mean I'd need to get the rears machined down too - for tyre rotation. But the rear rims only have about 15mm clearance between the inside rim & car suspension metal bits. Not sure what to do. May machine them all down by 5-10mm, or maybe just the front and have to swap rims/tyres for tyre rotation ?
The rear rims sit nice, just inside the wheelarches.
This photo shows this nicely but the car's not quite that low - the suspension was compressed a bit by the unlevel ground.
