When going over bumps and stuff.. It sounds like its coming from both the rear wheels.. either suspension or something.. We checked the boot.. took absolutely everything out!

Just went for service and they couldn't find it.. neither could they hear it! Its as if the springs are rattling from side to side.. but I don't think its that.
It has stock shocks at the back with Pedders Lowered springs, not sure what could be the problem.. thought maybe someone on here may be able to help.. :D

Is it a Deep Thud sound? When I took delivery of my car, it had that sound and what mitsu said was that the dampers were faulty and replaced them.. so far, I've haven't heard the noise anymore

How low are your springs?

Not too sure.. They aren't extremely low.. maybe an extra 25/30mm all round. We had Monroe Shockies on there before.. but we took them out because the old man didnt like them.. "f***ed if know what he's on about"
So yeah.. dropped just that 25/30mm extra plus the 10mm that it came with on the TF Sports.

i have a 2002 kj verada and it hasnt been modified and everytime it is driven over a slightly bumpy road there seems to be a rattling noise comming from the rear aswell.... :?: i had a VRX spoiler put on the car not long ago and i thought it coould be that... but f%$ked if i know what it is....

take it to Pedders $14 28point suspension inspection.

If it's the shockers, they'll find it. if not, it's only $14, at least you'll know it's not your suspension and you can be less worried.

yeah i was thinking about getting it inspected, i will have to do that becuase the noise is really irritating... if it isnt the suspension mitubishi will be fixing the problem next service.... ive only had the car a bit over a month....

Well i was driving my car this morning and i had a load in the boot... there was no rattle so i have come to the conclusion that it was the board over the spare wheel... everytime there is something on top of it there is no rattle... empty boot there is a rattle... maybe thats what could be wrong with yours??
