hey guys you lock a gen 3 with the remote, the lights normally flash twice, correct, now when i lock my car, it flashes quickly 1ce then does the two flashes also the alarm won't work again. any ideas

Dodgy contacts in the module plugs etc? try cleaning them first?

If it's an aftermarket alarm, it's probably interfering with the factory immobiliser somehow.

Might be the bonnet switch, try opening the bonnet, hold the switch down with your thumb and then lock it, then release your thumb. Or try the same with the doors.

BTW, you may soon be arrested for murder...of the English language!! :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

sorry bout the spelling as my hand is straped up and cant write, type prop, now it has a factory alarm, its all factory

do the doors actually lock when you "lock" the remote?
maybe one of the master locks is not going all the way and is telling it to unlock again.

all the doors lock if i leave 1 open it with set the horn off when i try to lock it all its doing is when i lock it the lights flashes quickly then its usual twice

I have this problem also. When locking, it quickly does like a half flash, then the usual 2 flashes... And then the remote won't work again, until i re-program it. Its strange, and given up, so i just use the keys... :(

Checked the battery inside the remote recently?

It should be 3V+.
