Hi Guys,

Im thinking of purchasing a magna flow exhaust..

http://magnaflow.com/02product/mirrorfinish/streetseries.htm

#14807

Will i get much gain by replacing this?

Im also thinking of replacing the cat also with a magnaflow cat..
Would there be any noticable gains in replacing the cat?

What are the specs to get?

Any info would be much appreciated..

Thanks in advance

Probably about 10HP at the wheels.

Dont worry about the hi flow cat.

Apparently there is only 1l/m difference between the stock and the hi flow, not worth the money. The stock one is good for 250hp I think.

Given your nick is magnatjsports, I assume you have a TJ Sports? :) Which means you already have a straight through muffler. Expect pretty mild gains. Maybe 2hp ATW?

Yeah, good point. Forget about it. Spend the money on headers or something else. The difference you'll gain probably won't be quantifiable on the dyno anyway.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies..

As you can see from my other post i have now decided to get extractors aswell so i might as well do the who system..

How many mufflers does the magna have?

I thought they have 1 muffler and 1 cat is this right or or there something that i am missing?

Thanks

There's a hotdog in there somewhere. I wouldn't worry about swapping the piping. Use the money elsewhere like on the headers.
