Hey all

I got a Sable Black VRX and i've got some spare cash. The car has the standard 17' vrx rims and would like to get red brake calipers. where can i get them done and how much will it cost or better still where can i get some nice flame red paint and 'll do it myself.


Lowering

I was also thinking about lowering it but i don't know anything abou the suspension. I just want to lower it that's it. I don't need fancy stuff. I did a quick search and found that a lot of people used king springs. Any ideas about cost as well

I also want to change the display colour to Blue. Everything to blue. Speedo, A/C, Trip Computer etc. No climate control in mine. Has anyone done it here. How much can it cost?

Better off doing it yourself. make sure you get proper caliper paint. super cheap, etc

remember don't get crazy with the paint, IMO only paint the calipers, not the pads as well

preparation is the key
take your time, do a proper job and it'll look the goods and stay stuck.

The problem is the VRX has a red dash.. if you pull the globes out you will find they are clear and its the dash that makes them red.. so putting covers over them will become a problem as you still have the red dash.. dont know if there is a way around it.. i havent found one yet..:)

Are the globes hard to get at? If its not too hard ill definately be getting some of those sleeves!

You can get blue EL dials, and then sell me your dash as i want a red one :D.

Yes my VRX has red dash but the colour is still the standard yellow and not red. And if the light color is blue wouldn't reflect blue on a red dash!

Yes that's correct, you'll have a red dash, with a bluish glow to it (it'll reflect the blue light a tiny little bit).

Ok. How do i go about removing all those lights:

1. Speedo and Odo
2. Middle Trip Computer
3. A/C Lights ( no C/Control)

Anyone willing to give me a hand. I'm in Vic/ Oakleigh. Can pay for install :D

Thanx..... i'll probably have a go on the weekend. Also, what size globe does the Magna have behind the speedo cluster? T-5mm, T-8.5mm, T-10mm, T-15mm or T-16mm?
