View Full Version : Blinkers cease working on TJ Sports

as the topic says, the blinkers have just stopped working at all on my dads TJ Sports. Everything else electrical seems fine. any one else had this happen to them?
(i have been giving him shit cos my TE has been problem free so far, touch wood 8) )

it could be the fuse or the flasher unit. i have no idea how much new flasher units are but you can get newer ones that arent mitsu if you feel like a lil electric work.

I had my hazard light switch crap itself in my old VT Commodore and it stopped the indicators working. You could try mucking about with the hazard light switch to see if it helps? Just a stab in the dark..

Yeah I was going to say that..
If the hazard switch isnt connected the circuit is broken..and the indicators wont work. If the flasher was gone, it'd either not work...or the indicator would just stay on when you flick the arm.

Go to Mitsu, a TJ should still be under warranty..

nah its under warranty, so Dad wasnt stressed. He just wanted to do some driving on the weekend. I didnt get a chance to have a look at it myself, oh well. It will be off to Mitsu tomorrow, I will let yous know what the problem was ;)
