hey guys im lookin at gettin some wheels for my cressida...something to improve the stockies anyway. Offset for the cressida is +50 im not 110% sure what the magna one is but i think its aroun 40? Anyway what would be so bad about aving the wrong offset?

Your tyres can stick out of the guards, they can rub and your tyres will wear unevenly.

and it can be un-roadworthy if it sticks out 2much

Just remember that the offset of your wheel can change with a wider wheel.

yeah i think if the magna offset is lower then it would be inside the guard?
my only problem is thatmaybe it might touch the springs :(

magna offset is 46. with the same size tyre it would be moved out by 4mm so u get 4mm more clearance inside.

cant see 4mm being a problem? Could anyone see why 4mm would make THAT much difference? i.e getting defected or damagin nethin

And the changes in track width will alter suspension geometry and have flow on effects for handling, stability, and component life.

You can kill all your bearings in a matter of months with bad offset wheels if you're hammering your car around.

its not all bad some manufacturers offer wheels wirth slightly different offsets to accomodate wider tyres. its when u go crazy that things go wrong.

thats a decision for u alone to make grasshopper but its best to get the same offset. people say AUs and magnas arethe same, but AUs are 36 and magnas 46.
