hey guys, i have heard of many reviews that state that FWD TJ magna's have crap handling. I dunno if this includes any other model.
Please can TJ FWD owners give me some feedback.

compared to what a mclaren?

i reckon a FWD Ralliart isn't bad, could be better but it is 4 door family car.

in what way bad handling?

mine vr-x handles fine does well on windy roads and it has the stock suspension except for 22mm rear sway bar and strut bar.

apparently in this review the base model magna (executive), has poor handling and a bad turning circle.

Handling is pretty average, and the turning circle is poor.

yeh cause i am looking at buying an tj executive series 1 or 2, as i thought it would be a good, cheap and reliable 1st car.
Is there any problems i should watch out for?

what do u really expect from a large family sedan? personally from my experience my car handles better then commo's n falcons that i have driven

the body roll is pretty bad on a stock car tho, just lower it and uprade ur shocks, strut brace and u have a pretty decent handling car

if u want somehtign that handles on rails out of the box then look at an MX5 or sumthing, not much go but u can throw them thing into corners like no tommorow.

As for any problems with TJs? i love my TJ and havent had any problems thus far, some ppl complain about rough idle and ticking from the lifters but i have yet to encounter those problems and mines overdue for a service. If u can, get a manual, insane amount of fun compared to an auto but also annoying when u travel peak hour to work lol
