got myself a new amp this week hoping to get it on Friday tis an Alpine MRD-M10005...

gotta power two Audiobhan 12" subs will hopefully have i the car by the time of the next WA cruise....

Nice amp got one myself too, its a very good amp but some will say not the best but hey its still a very powerfull amp with 1000wrms

Yeah there not the best, but hey run them @ 2ohm and you have a 1000W of power and 1000W heater all in one :D

For 1000W on a budget, look at the DD SS1.

Alpine amp isn't a bad amp, it should serve you well if you keep it well ventilated!!!!

i got the 600w one, worked really well so far

After doin the research i found that this amp will power the two subs near %90 reason being is that i would need to get a 1200 watt amp to power em at 100% but i just found that this amp is very powerful and good as well.

finally my amp arrived today so will start working on it over the next few nites will post pics when done.

Question: Ohms is resistance and all and I kinda get its use in electricity... In subs.. is lower ohms at higher power good/bad?
