Hellooooo everyone

Its been quite a while since Ive done anything to my lil car so last weekend we sat down and got working through the little "to do" list that was getting rather long...

So first up - I got an electric aerial! For all those TH drivers who have that stupid aerial that wont go all the way down, it just sticks about 25cm up ALL the time, we replaced it with a real electric aerial that goes RIIIGHT down :D

Next up, was going to paint this console a harlequin pink colour, but I'm kinda liking this colour.. had more green in it than I first thought so we will see how we go with it for now..

Lastly.. put some purple cold cathode tubes in the front foot wells. Had a few extra laying around that I dont think im going to incorporate into the final boot install so yeh..

(yes i know the floor mats are dirty.. so shoosh)

So whats next?
Well the boot install needs some final touches, its all planned out and just gotta go down to bunnings and get someone to cut this damn piece of perspex..

Got some nice suede fabric I might use on the door trims.. see how we go.. so stay tuned for some more mods soon :)

the console looks good... at that angle matchs the outside of the car pretty well :)

its amazing the difference a real arieal can make... my TP had a coat hanger shaped like australia :P

i need to get my A into G and fit my footwell neons and paint my console, but i got no time til my bro's engine swaps done.... but enuf about me

Console actually looks good, matches the car well and it isn't in your face.

Is that a genuine Mitsi arial? If not where did you get it from and how much?
Was the wiring already there or did you have to run the wires from the HU and power?

My one has carked it so I'll be replacing it soon.

haha I thought I was the only one with an aerial that wouldn't go down any lower than 25cm's, I didnt know it was a design trait/flaw :P

be sure to turn then cathodes off if you get pulled over.....i forgot once and the cops had a field day looking over the car fot things to book me for....

Its a TL magna One(Genuine).. TH one is $300+ and the TL one was about $100..

There wasnt no wiring so that was the hard part.. the rest just happened.. It sits in there perfect. Mounting holes are there too..

Then just need to wire it up..:)
