I have a Magna TH Advance
My Remote for my central locking went flat (I thought) I have since replaced the battery but it does not work, do these need to be reprogrammed after they go flat or is it just stuffed ?
Thanks all, also anyone got a 2nd hand exhaust for a TH Magna sedan.
Cheers

It cost me $50 for a new one from Mitsu...they programmed it in 5 seconds.....so maybe just take your old one there and see if someone in the workshop can help you....

This is how you do it on a TJ, give it a go:
Turn ignition from ACC to ON 3 time within 5 secs, leave at the ON position (hazards should flash to confirm). Then press any button on remote within 5 seconds (hazards flash again to confirm). You can do this for up to 4 remotes. Each remote must be done within 5 seconds of the last.

Does that include remotes from other mitsubishi (ie 2nd hand remotes) or do you need to buy a new blank one from mitsu?

as long as the remote is the same, u can program it to any car, just do all the remotes u have at the same time! second hand is ok.. with most of the green/red button remotes, the solder points break on the barrery carrier before the battery actually goes flat! but 50 or so bucks every 3 yrs isnt much to pay i reckon.
