after the hoon/car blitz again over the weekend down the gold coast ??

here are handy sites if you are thinking of modifying a car in QLD or NSW

you should consult a certified engineer before even thinking about a modification

http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Industry/Repairers/Light_vehicle_modifications/

all you need to know is in the first line
a pdf file booklet to down load
worth a read
and Racq now has authorised modified inspectors at certain sites
http://www.racq.com.au do a search as- modifications -

Here's a link to the NSW regs:
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi06.pdf

So.. If i'm reading this right, it means that in QLD there is no maximum rim size as long as the tyre stays within +15mm or -26mm... so that means 20's are legal..?

It's an ADR that's australia wide, but yes that is true. 20's are only legal if you get thin enough tyres....good luck!

Nah, I'm after 17's or 18's for performance, tyre price and ride. I think anything over 18 is silly for a everyday car.
