hmm im d/l the workshop manual but stil easier if som1 would just say undu screw in glove box or you have to start from the center consol...

ok
pull out your ashtray, theres 2 screws under that, remove them
now enter the car from the back doors, you will see a screw on either side of the centre console, remove those.

the bottom bit of the centre console should now come out

leaving the bit where the CD/Radio is

from there you should be able to see all the screws holding it in, only 4? i think, 2 on the bottom, 2 on the top.

i think there are 2 screws in the air con cluster which you have to take out in order to expose the top 2 screws holding the CD/radion bit in

Start from the bottom and work your way up mate, its one of the easiest cars to do it in.

this is where that PDF manual will come in handy.

or, grab yourself a test light, put the clip on one end, and earth the other end, if the light turns on with ACC on, and off with ACC off, theres your ACC, same with power,, but stays on all the time

i'v done a 1st gen magna (amp subs n all) and now a second gen magna :D ...
BUT now i hav a problem... my interier lights arnt working now... like the light on the speedo etc but the headlights low beams and high still work so do the lights that turn on when you open the door...

My thoughts are that the stock unit has a wire that tells it when to dim because the headlightrs are on and iv connected that to the acc or somthing(but the cdplayer turns on when i turn the acc on so the acc is right it can eject when off so the pwrs right and the earth would have to be right...)

Sounds like you may have blown a fuse. Check the interior light fuse in the engine bay.

Sure is lol. You've connected something where it shouldn't have been connected or you have exposed metal touching something it shouldn't.
