Hey I need some help here... am seriously wanting to dot a VRX bodykit instead of the sports but have realised that I am going to come across probs with the exhaust as sports has twin pipes and VRX has the big eliptical one which the place is made for the rear skirt on the body kit... has anyone made this change and overcome the prob? I was thinking about doing the exhaust at some point but hoped that I could do the body kit first do you think I am better to do the VRX style exhasut first then get the kit later? The other option is just getting a tip but with the twin pipes this is a bit of a prob too I guess? Spoke to Mitsu parts and they can order me a VRX kit with exhaust etc but it was 45000 and I can get the kit from SSV for around 1500 Help!!!! I am just totally confused about how to go with this I know the end result I want but how to get to it? Hmmmm

If it were me, i'd remove the rear muffler first. Get the VRX kit you want and put it on, then get another muffler to fit. That would be the easiest way.

depends if you want to go a standard VRX muffler or not, it would be easier to get the kit and then have a muffler fitted after, just incase it doesnt line up properly if you get the muffler done 1st.

all u need to do is get a custom half rear bar put on... so you wont have the muffler problem... and that i think is a better option then redoing ya muffler.

You have a TJ Sports. Its got the VRX muffler, the only difference is the tip. The VRX has
a straight chromed tip where as the Sports has a non-chromed droopy tip. They are both
single outlet. Get the VRX kit and just cut the tip before it starts bending and attach a
chrome exhaust tip.

ye do wat VLAD said. by putting the vrx rear bar the current tip wont matter but will look wrong so just get the kit dont and then go donwn to a exhaust place and get a fat @ss chrom tip to fit the VRX cutout :D

I think she might already have an aftermarket exhaust on there, because she mentions that it has two tips out of it. Unless Mitsu pulled a dodgy and fitted an Exec muffler from factory.
