Hi,

I have ordered a 380 SX and asked for window tinting.

I have been told that sometimes the tint can short out the on the rear screen antenna and drop reception to zero, suposedly because of the metal content of tint films.

I could just get the windows tinted and forget about the rear screen but that may not be a good look.

Any one with a 380 and window tint like to comment?

Thanks

Everard

I got my 380 tinted at the dealer's, prior to delivery.

No problems whatsoever so far!!

I had my widows tinted by tint a car using midnight express which is a metal based film.
I have travelled as far as Kyneton before the melbourne based radio stations started to break up, In other words the same distance as my TF.

Bingo.

It's actually integrated into the glass and not a film on top of the glass like regular tint.
