like the title says . have any of u guys changed ur fuel filter latly and was it a real pain to unbolt. or am i the only one whose magna likes to fight with them every time i got to replace somthing:nuts: . maybe its just me.

The one in my carbie 1st gen used to be a real pain to take off, several times i had to resort to using pliers and pulling as hard as possible on the stupid thing.

if your talking about the efi ones then you will see that the filter end is like a bolt also. So get a spanner or shifter to hold the inside of the filter steady and then another spanner to actually undo the outside bolt.

thanks for the replies guys. got it off with sum elbow grease and a bit of swearing. well the nawty words must work cos they've been there every time i work on the tp .

when you put it back together you might kink the fuel line like i always do
