Not sure if someone has posted this before,
I have a 1998 TF sedan that I want to take the door trimmings out and the back parcel shelf to start some work on them,
Could someone pretty please give me a idea of how to take them out,, many thanks..

Doors:
Theres 3 screws,
- in the little pocket next to the arm rest (hidden at the bottom by a clip)
- In the vent thats hidden when the door is closed
- On the edge of the door handle (pull handle and you'll see it).
Then you need to remove your window winder, easiest way is to get a screwdriver and put a cloth on the end of it, wedge the screwdriver insidet he washer and try and push the c clip out. It can be tricky but gets easy once you've done it before.
Once you've done all that, you just use some force and pull the trim off, it just unclips.
As for the parcel shelf, you need to remove the rear seats which i'm not sure how to do. I know there are some bolts that need un-doing.

theres an easier way of removing the c-clip
use an old rag sumthing that doesnt tear easy, slip it inbetween the winder and door trim, pull up and down on the rag while applying a small amount of pressure towards the winder
the rag will eventually catch on the c clip and the handle n clip will fly off

I tried that and found the screwdriver was much more effective.

hey fellas
im having huge trouble removing my rear right hand side door trim.
the screw under the doorhandle will NOT budge! i dont want to go at it much harder in the fear of threading the head...is using a drill my only choice with that one?
secondly, how many screws are there in the rear door? i know the one in the door pocket, the one behind the door handle, but then what? are there any others? this is in a car without power windows by the way.

There are only 2 screws in the back door trims.

yeah, looks like the fricking previous owner has threaded the head of the screw and thats why no matter how hard i turn it wont budge...
what can i do in this situation?

i had the same problem
you need to apply alot of pressure
open the door all the way
get screwdriver into position
push hard on the end of the screwdriver
then try and loosen the screw
you need to be careful if your going to use a cordless drill
you could end up round the head which then you'll never get it out
before you wack the screw back in check to see if it be crossed threaded

i should clarify, its not that it wont budge, but no matter how much pressure you put on, and turn, eventually it just gives way and shaves a bit more off the head.
theres stuff-all space to work with in there and one false move could see me needing a new bloody door handle too. stupid spot for the screw IMO.

okay, finally got around to getting myself a new drill that would let me get rid of the bastard screw...20.4v ozito cordless - $20 from work :D
any rate, how am i gonna find a new screw to go in there once ive decimated this one? is it a fairly standard size and type available at bunnings? i have no idea how to identify one screw from another...

am i an absolute idiot or something?
today got some time to start drilling the f*cking screw out, used a 35mm drill bit and i managed to drill it down to a point where no matter how much more drilling i do, the screw head does not look ANY different...this is also using a 400watt corded drill as well....i just want to push these bloody dents out!
