Hey Guys

Newbie on the forum as just bought a 99 TH Magna for the missus ( needed the space
for the kiddies on the way !!) -

Before i bought it - i noticed it was running a bit rough when you first take off- but i thought it just needed a service / change plugs - But then after driving for a while it feels more like driveshaft vibration

I took it in for service to one of the "big" service chain franchises and basically they were drop kicks - When i got it back - they hadnt even filled out the service sheet and just said " Nah , mate everything is OK"
Then when i asked if they managed to fix the rough running - the guys just said to me "It runs as good as any other mate - Fair go its a 99 - getting old"

Clowns.....

Basically need recommendations on places to get some work done who know what they are doing and get it running right - even if its a performance place - i dont mind....

I previously owned a Subaru Liberty RS and had to do a bit of a search on the forums until i found somone who knew what they were doing... any help appreciated...

RPW (Racing Performance Works) have been helpful, was only like $140 or something for a full service, and they know thier mitsus. located in Osb Park if it helps...
the owner of it is a member here, pm 'Mitsiman' if he doesnt see this thread

Excuse me but if you were referring to the rough idle you are having than is normal in many magnas. Do a search on the threads 'rough idle' you find solutions about engine mounts, PVC other components.

Ask one of our WA members to check it out if any volunteers, and we be experience enough to tell you if it is normal.

Cheers!

Cheers guys

Already spoke to Dave @ RPW and he sounded good just over the phone !!!

Thanks anyways Nexus for the tip - idle seems to be OK - mainly rough when you first go off - and its the only one that did it out of the the other 3L TF- TH i drove

Will leave it to the experts i suppose!!

thanks again
