Ok I think I've done a CV joint (clicking coming from somewhere whenever there's more than 50% lock on)

Anyway how much is this going to cost me, part + labour I figure its better to know the truth now, rather than get a surprise at the mechanics.

If you do it yourself, new CVs with warranty can be found on ebay for around $45.

Assuming similarities with the 2nd gens, the best option as far as getting someone else to do it would probably be to get an entire exchange driveshaft, might cost around $160 fitted if you look around.

I paid $39 each for the outer CV from a seller on ebay called ultracheapauto......2 years warranty aswell....

But yeah, if your keeping the car you may want to go something a little higher quality
