Gday mate welcome to AMC. Hope you enjoy.

Well for lowering, use the search function and you'll find plenty about lowering.
Also if you wish to make your car louder you have a couple of options. You can either go a cannon or a full system with a loud muffler.

You wont void your warranty unless what you replace caused the fault, eg. you lower your car and one of the struts sieze up, that wont be covered. But if you lower the car and say, your roof falls off, that would be covered.

If you get stuff fitted by the dealer, you should be able to keep your warranty as the work is done by mitsubishi. You'd have to ask your dealer about that though.

While this is true.

You should read your manual and ask your Mitsubishi dealership.

Any mods to the vehicle can and will void warranty. So its just a matter of risk vs looks.

Personally, id lower it. Cause they look damn ugly and need all the help they can get :)

I sussed out the stuff to do with the warranty and basically if you mess with something then it voids the warranty on that section - so suspension warranty is voided by lowering so would suggest you get it done by professionals and ask them to give you a garuntee which then kind of replaces your factory warranty. I presume this is the same for the exhaust... really when you look at what is covered by the warranty in the first place it is generally stuff that will not be effected by any mods you want to do anyway unless you are going really radical engine stuff etc but read your paperwork and make sure that any stuff that does get done is covered by some kind of garuntee by the place it is done...

Welcome and you do realise that once you start with aftermarket mods the list will go on and on and on..... it is addictive!!! But you will end up with one hot ride

Yes this is true, "reputable" places (not jims exhaust in the back alleys of dandenong) USUALLY and SHOULD have some sort of warranty on the work they've done. So like you've said, even though you void your mitubishi warranty on say your suspension, the suspension place you go to will have a warranty for it.

Hey People,

thanks fo the info. Well my car is booked into pedders tomorrow. im gettin front and rear springs replaced.
Did you know the big gap in the front off magnas is due to the MMC specification for clearance when snow chains are fitted?

First thing would be to get an engine immobiliser, unless one is already installed.
