i have a problem......... and a dream.. but lets concentrate on the problem..

after reving high the charge level guage tops out and all the lights go bright.. then the alternator starts to squeal.

i have replaced the black box on the back of the alternator already but it still does it...

any one have any idea what it could be????
im sure if it does ot too much longer my battery is going to go chernobel on me...

when everything gets brighter the volt guage goes to the top and the headlights get brighter, the power windows work at warp speed and the heater blows me away...
thing is the high revs seem to trigger the problem.. then its there overcharging untill it decides otherwise or untill you stop the engine and restart...
can this do any damage charging so high?

your overcharging your battery with your alternator you need to put a larger pulley on your alternator if you want to rev your car out without burning out globes & batteries, its easy to fix any mechanic or sparky can do it
