i went to the wreckers today and found a ton of fun stuff, firstly i found a kr verada that and took the dash clock and back interior lights from it, unfortunately i didnt get time to get the wiring loom, anyone know where it comes out and how to get at it?

secondly with the rear interior lights do you need any wiring or brackets or will it just go in place of the the old one,

next how do you get the front interior lights off? ive got the manual but havent read it might be easier if i just got told.

the most exciting thing is that this kr had the awesome door cards with the speaker pods built in, i can get the cards off but want the power windows aswell, HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THIS??? id really love to have power windows and i dont wanna break the motors or anything getting them out or leave anything behind.

i also got a bunch of woodgrain, every piece excent for the long dash piece as it was cracked.

lastly ive found two nice sets of tail lights, a set of kr verada ones and a set of ts se ones, any interested and i could get them.

so yeah anyone with any answers to my questions or any interest in any of the items i can help them out, oh yeah i can get a 2nd dash clock and set of verada interior lights.

lastly heres a pic of the sort of door cards they are if it helps anyone with info on the power windows conversion.

ok, the rear interior light on a verada has a different bracket to an exec, so ul need to get the bracket for it. wiring is the same as your old exec light aswell, only +- wires. ul need to be careful when fitting the light, i didnt have to take my roof lining out...i just slowly and VERY carefully trimmed the light in with a hobby knife. but ull have to fit the bracket first before u start hacking away.

and about your power windows.....i dont think u can fit them to an exec...
or do u want to know how to remove the trims??

i think the power windows run off your BCM (Body Control Module i think its called)
so i think that would be a no....

yeah sounds like a pain in the *** of a thing to do, would be awesome to have power windows but yeh cant be bothered. i had a read anyway and found out i can just put the verada pods on my doors which i think would be the way to go as it would be way neater

yeah i like them, now back to my question before, how do i get the brackets out for my middle verada lights and get the front verada lights off? do i have to rip the lining out?, also do i have to pull the wiring out cos it looks like theres a plug on the end that needs to plug in.

yeah i was in a rush and my mate unscrewed it for me so i never realised i needed a bracket aswell, ive got a middle light and no bracket and a clock with no plug

now 3 things i need answered

1 - how do i get to the bracket for the middle light and do i need a wire with a plug on the end of it?

2 - how do i get to the front light to remove it and im guessing i need the bracket for it aswell, again do i need a plug for it?

3 - how far down the wires for the clock do i cut or does it unplug somewhere down along the line?

the middle bracket is held on by 2 or 4 screws i think. just unscrew them and they rada bracket just screws straight onto your exec roof :)

as for the plug, i cant remember if the exec one just plugs into the rada light. i think u may need the plug off the rada and just rewire the 2 wires. not hard at all.

the front light was tricky. u just need to pull the grey plastic to reveal the screws holding it in. grab the bracket for that too.
the execs only have one interior light, so therefore only one wire running to the middle light. to wire the front one, ull need to either pull ur lining out or fish around for the wire that goes to the middle light and tap into that one. u may need to extend those wires tho.

its not a hard job at all. just be patient with it and ull be right.

as for the clock, ull need the loom for it. but ive never wired one up so i cant help u with that. sorry

hope the info on the lights helps you :)

just cut the wires man, but u dont need the loom, just solder some wires to the end of the metal connections u have at the back of the clock

the wires from the clock join into some other dash wires. just cut them back as far as possible. its easier to solder wires together, than wires to clock connectors....
