Hey, the roof lining in my KR sagged, so I picked me up a roof lining off a TS.....seems to be fine for size etc, cut some holes for extra lights etc no prob.......question is:
1. The TS has a handle thingy above the drivers door, where the KR doesnt. Can I rip one off a TS and it will bolt on no dramas??? if not ive got some ugly holes in the roof lining.....
2. The rear of the TS lining seems to use 4 or 5 round plugs to hold it up, where the KR doesnt, can I mod this to use the plugs, or should I just glue the plugs in the hole so it looks OK cosmetically then liquid nails the back of the lining to the roof???
Cheers.
Can take some pics if needed.

1, yeah grab another handle, or actually i think it uses plugs for those holes??? im not to sure!
2, i think the actuall roof metal of both cars is identical so grab some of the pluggy holey things and whack em in, should be sweet

OK another question, I got the plugs OK for the lining etc
The drivers door on the KS does not have a handle above it, yet my TR did. I ripped the rear drivers side handle off, are all these interchangeable?
I know i should have checked before I bought it but I only have 1/2 hour lunch break and it takes 10 mins to get to wreckers, so I only have 10 mins to grab and pay.

had to get it in my car to transport it from the wreckers..also Ive taken it and my original roof out of the car so ive had a bit of practice :)
Just for the record, the TR and TS have different holes at the rear for mounting the roof lining :( so ill be gluing the plugs in the holes for the TS so it looks OK cosmetically, and liquid nails-ing the TR plugs onto the back of the lining........should look OK when its done but yes I do have a job ahead of me....gotta remove the rest of the tinting before I put the roof back in, luckily I bought myself a steam gun :)

Yeh,
i recently re- did my roof lining in micro suede.. (hehe)
except stupid me used the wrong foam for the underlay... now it sags at the back...
gotta find some time to redo it (with the correct foam this time...)
