Is there any way of telling if this is a 3l or 3.5..

The description says exec 2.4L? obviously a mistake.. But yea i wanna know if someone can tell if its 3 or 3.5

its most probably a 3.0, the 3.5 option wasnt even availbae til 98/99 on the TF's

but if they typed in the engine size wrong.. maybe they coulda gotten the TF part wrong to?

lookin at the pics.. making an educated guess.. its a 3.0L.. ontop of the front rocker cover on the fuel rail it is rather neat and visibly has not many wires and all.. the 3.5 had extra wires which created a mess there due to extra emmissions crap

If You blow up the rear pic you can see the v6 badge. Probably said 4cyl cause of the fuel prices. Car yards will do anything to suck you in. The 3.5 didnt come out till 99 except in the verada.

Being a TF it'll have a 3.0. The only TRUE way of telling is by the VIN number, which that site doesn't list.

the only TRUE way you could tell if a picture showed the engine number, vin numbers can show that it came with a 6g72, but as we all know, engines can easily be changed down the track of vehicle ownership.

Looks like a 3.5L V6. The 3l engine looks a little different i thought. Specially the intake plenum? I could be wrong. This car has the front grille changed, rims added and most likely been colour coded. Most badges were removed also, except of the Mitsubishi diamond on the rear left, and the V6 on the right.

Going from the front bar, its a TE/TF.

Going off the look of the car and the given year, it is a TE/TF and thus a 3.0 from factory.

The rear light cluster indicates is a TF (the indicators have that orangy highlight). Yep, its
only 3.0 unless they replaced it with a verada 3.5 as they have replaced the grill and boot
garnish with a KF Verada ones.
