Well ive had some <insert bad word> bend the antenna on my my02 vrx and its got me wondering would i be able to just order a genuine power antenna for a series 2 from mitsu and fit that instead.

Or is my car going to be lacking the connections required for a power antenna?

Not sure if you have the wiring, but you definately have the bracket to fix the power antenna to.

Depending on your stereo, you will need to run a remote wire from the HU which gives signal when your ignition is on, and also one to the battery to give it a signal when you stop the car and the aerial needs to go down.

well, i installed on of the aftermarket universal power aerials on my old 300zx aslong as there is some where to bolt/tie down the body of the unit you can install a power aerial to any car as mysti said, you just need , B+ N- and R+.

It might be the alcohol but hasn't a 02 VR-X got a power antenna? lol my TJ Exec does :p

Have you got a pink wire running from the HU? thats for the power antenna see if there is one running out from the back of it, should have all the connections ect then for it.

The 02 vrx had a power antenna however some 2001 MY02 VRX's did and some did not (mitsu really made this easy.. not)
