Have you guys noticed that there is hardly any good examples out there For Sale
specially in NSW.
I've searching the Carsales and tradingpost and rarely i see VRX model for mid to low 20's
Some dealers are asking up $30k for a TL/TW VRX
its almost sames price as a new 380

Because these cars were a fair bit brand new, and people dont want to sell them as they are a pretty damn good car and the resale value doesn't make it worth selling. I'd say their value has probably decreased by more than half.

Dont know the condition of it though - the interior could be totalled.
Done 81000 so it's been doing quite a few km a year.

 :D
I paid $43K for my TJ VR-X auto (series 1.5) in August 2002. I've had four good years out of it. Up to 90,000km on it now. And I just had the t/belt done. And only just changed over the tyres for the first time.

$43k.. holy heck! Good thing that your happy with it (and i presume your not looking at selling it any time soon) as you'd lose and absolute **** load of money..
hmm, *thinks back*.. ralliarts were $48,990 (plus$1850 for sunroof) plus on road costs so your looking at around $52k on road when first released..
Bought mine @ 2 and a 1/2 years old with 20,000kms on it for $23,000..
makes you wonder how something can lose so much bloody value..:doubt:
and to top it all off, wholesale value of my ralliart (auto with 39,000ks on the clock) is now $18,800.. woo hoo.. looks like ill be keeping this til it goes to heaven

Purrs like a kitten. Still good for blowing off VY Commies. They get the sheets.
Hey
You are right, these cars look great, drive well and as Tom said 'better built and better backed'. I have a 2005 TW manual VRX and love it...all for under 24k with 6km on the clock from the factory! Go and see Knox Mitsubishi for a great deal
