new comer has a tn,auto, ripped out the carburettor and got a tp loom and ecu plus all the bits and pieces for 130 dollars, went to change over, but lo & behold the trannies different..so i left the tcu and associated wiring in place.got it up and running ok.
the only prob now is that when i pullup as if at lights(yes there are lights in mackay)with foot off the gas and just touching the brake, about 15 kph there is a clunk,if i pull up before the change to second,no clunk:nuts:
can anyone help, idle at 850,tps set to .5v,oil level correct, throttle switch ok,engine mounts ok...as far as i can tell from tn tp gregories joke book the only common component is the tps.. does anyone have a workshop schematic of the tn and tp efi & autos
thanx LOFTY

get the TCU from the efi system. the TPS is different on a carby and EFI and they give different readings.

i put a EFI TCU on my carby car and the tranny held out it's gears, slipped, etc

the automatic part of the loom is the same between EFI and carby, the TCU will plug in no worries.
