can someone please tell me what model magna the Bendix DB1223 AD pads are suitable for?
I was told that would be fine for my car (an october 1996 Ke verada) but the pads were completely different.

Perhaps call a car part shop and wish they are helpful? Dunno if Bendix website lists them per model.

DB1223 should be for the front of a KR-KH with twinpot caliper
or TE-TH with Akebono or Sumitomo calipers.
Check your calipers for a brandname or logo.
If they're PBR, you'll need the DB1203 pads.

I think that part number is for a Pajero.
You will need to confirm.
Cheers
