hi guys, bit weird but has any tried to fit a mk1 magna injected motor and box into a mitsubishi colt? interesting light weight car big torque of the 2.6 could be fun ???:nuts:

Sorry mate wont fit measured it last weekend ( mate at work has a colt had the same idea ) the aston from front engine mount to rear of block is about 3 inches longer( and there is not much room to modify) than the saturn block in the colt...saying that it could be done but a lot of custom work would be needed... Better off putting a 4G63 Turbo from a lancer/RVR into it, fit's well to.....

I second that,
I’ve seen a VR4 engine in a colt i think it was in Zoom magazine.

Yeah i have seen one with a VR4 engine in it many years ago. They had to cut bits out of the sides of the engine bay to make it fit.
Also remember seeing a colt for sale in the trader with the 1.8l cordia turbo engine in it. Which would be a cheaper and safer option.
