Is it possible to go completely keyless entrey on your car doors?
What I mean is to disconnect where the key goes in and have the locking and unlocking mechanism run off a remote.

(It's not my fault if I can't spell, I went to a public school)

I'm pretty sure (with small knowledge on this) that you can remove the keyholes and/or disengage them to the door locks, and as long as your key never goes flat, you can have the motors unlock the car doors, no?

Yep, by retro-fitting door handles without a key hole. But then what if your remote breaks??

I'm pretty sure it's illegal. You need a keyed entry in addition to any remote system.

Alot of things are illegal though. I would leave one keyed entry somewhere for, legal issues and incase anything happens to your remote, eg. Dead battery... need to enter vehicle to reset remote with car...

my s13 is screwed up... it has an imobiliser built into the keyless entry so if i open the door without my keyless entry eg, someone brakes into my car or i use the key. it wont start and the alarm sounds and engine floods itself and its just crazy lol... its some japanese old school technology i supose there is no need for my keyhole in the silvia :D

Same here. A good door lock? as in keylock? You can get versatile shaped ones that are different to your car key and hard to pry off and pick if thats anything near what you are asking
