well, time 2 upgrade my system... tired of the pounding bass and gonna go something a bit more SQ oriented... how SQ? well i think all the components will be eclipse and focal......... i will be selling pretty much all of my stuff over the next few months.. maybe weeks.. if anyone's interested and can offer a decent price let me know... (head unit will be sold last, as the new one is about $3000)

ohyeah, if i can sell the subs and box as 1 that would be awesome... so if anyone doesn't care about spare wheels and weight, they can have the whole box + subs for $1300.. i might part with the sub amp for $500...

but... back on the topic... if anyone is interested in the subs of even just the box let me know... i don't really wanna just chuck it away... 2 of the subs "might" have been sold but there are definately 2 available ($300 each, (RRP of about $500!) or $1300 for the lot including the box, which should fit all 3rd gen magnas)

its an eclipse unit.....absolutely mad for the price in my opinion (my next head unit as well actually, was going to order one about a month before they released it)

where are you getting that headunit i saw it on a jap site a while ago and i couldnt find any body here that sold anything remotely like it other than 3800 clarion units.

Did you come across any other units that might be a little cheaper? I have a tv tuner unit i paid 100 bucks for (remote and all) and it will plug into any headunit :)

last time i checked they didn't have any info in the Australian Eclipse site, but i searched Yahoo! and found a link to the jap one that had that pic. they retail for $2600 i'm sure, and most Tonkins stores seem to have them on display.. very fun to play with!

the amp is a US Audio 1000D, running of the Fusion 1.5 farad capacitor it puts out approx 1200W RMS and is 1ohm stable. (4x4ohm subs = 1ohm load) i can have the thing running for 2 hours non-stop without it even getting close to hot. (the day we installed the new box, we did it at a mates place in Nurioopta (about 20 mins north of Gawler) then i drove straight to my G/F's place in Noarlunga with it cranked the whole way... my ears hurt after, but i could hold my hand on the amp and it was barely above the outside temperature!!)
