hey guys I searched for a thread like this and couldn't find one so I'm starting one...

I just refilled my car (99 TH) with fuel, and after I get back in my car and turn it on it beeps irreguarly. The beep is the same beep that you hear when you turn your car off with the lights on, except not a constant beep like that one, just beeps randomly with various lengths.....

It is ****ing annoying, anyone have any clue what it could be please help!!!!

If i were to guess i'd say it's a warning sound for something. Though i've never heard of the magna having an audible warning system, only light warnings. Are there any warning lamps lit up on the dash when it beeps?
Could be as simple as a loose connection.

if you hold down the trip computer button, that will beep a few times... could be something going on there?

no airbag or abs lights on the dash?

does the trac control system beep when your having too much fun?

No lights are on on my dash....door seems fine, and i haven't really been having fun while driving, just the usual stuff really......ill try and disconnect the battery and the reconnect see if that changes anything..

hahaha. My mate was driving his falcon and the engine started making loud noises, so he turned his radio up :nuts: . The engine didn't make it, RIP goldie (was a gold xf).

thats happen to me a few weeks ago , when i didn't have my romote control to lock /unlock the car i had to use my master key, it was't armed probaly and when i started the car, i had these beeps going off non-stopk, it might be because of alarm on the car.

Erik they weren't beeps they were the tick's of the indicator.

Nah i was using my remote control....funny though, i disconnected the battery and reconnected it and now the beeping has stopped.....wonder what is was? oh well, at least i can drive without having my stereo up so loud i go deaf.

Yes but my point is that they weren't BEEPS, like what this guy is experiencing. Ticks and beeps are different lol.

Mmmm annoying beeps... Are you sure someone hasnt been playing with your speed alert?

before my trip computer hits 20 hous of driving it beeps... maybe it was that?
