this for all 380 owners.

what has been your average fuel consumption with the 380.

Autospeed.com.au just did a review on the Lancer wagon and pointed out some good points.

The 380 consumption is not far off from the lancer and offere far superior safety

was interesting...

May as well put the link here for it:

Yeah I read about that in the review. Kind of suprised me they reckon it was around 10l/100km especially when the 380 doesn't use much more then that.

At the same time though the Lancer is an old model and is going to be replaced next year with a more powerful one with the new all aluminium MIVEC engine which will hopefully pump out 125kw in the new one.

Speaking of 380 fuel consumption a guy at my dad's work has an SI 380LX and he is getting 11.1/100km and that is mainly all city driving.

Driving style is a major factor in fuel consumption. Drive with a heavy foot = bad consumption.

Interesting they pointed out the lancer mivec engine to be pretty grunty with plenty of torque. 2.4 litre is a decent size 4 banger i guess.

i think it has to do with the gear ratios, the manual also rev's quite high on 5th gear.

never the less its interesting finding out real life consumption, the manufacturer's figures never tend to be true.

I am able to achieve consistent 600_km per tank.
Last tankful was 630km, mainly highway but with some city driving interspersed.
