Greetings All.

How do i run two batterys? I own a 2002 Mitsubishi Magna VR-X.

The battery in the engine bay will have a 4awg positive cable connecting to a Optima D34 mounted in the boot. The D34 will have a 1awg comming off it into a stinger fused distrobution block. This then will have 2x 4awg cables running out to feed 2x audison amps.

Does this sound correct? Or do i need something in between the two batterys
such as a isolator or something...?

Just look at my car :D

In all seriousness, you only need an isolator if you only want to run the rear battery when stopped. It will stop you from running down both batteries (which is what is going to happen with the suggested setup).

However, that said, unless youre running it with the engine off for long periods of time, you shouldnt have a problem.

All depends on how much of a tool you want to be :P

Dont forget to make sure the battery in the boot is earthed well. Also might want to upgrade the earth on your front battery as well :)
