Gday everyone.

As you may know i am rebuilding a KR wagon. Now, the front bumper on it needs replacing so while the new one is off the car i was thinking of some mild mods to do to it to make it different.

both ideas use the standard KR front bar and require minimal work to achieve either affect.

let me know on which idea you all prefer and if you dont like either....maybe suggest one to me?

btw, i should let you know that i am going to make the interior of the car very classy with chrome accents (int door handles ect) and also the exterior of the car (ext door handles-only the actual handle- and maybe custom mirrors ect).

Sorry mate, I voted for neither of them.

If your wanting the Wagon to be classy with lots of chrome then I'd maybe be thinking more along the lines of the Diamante Front. The front has lots of chrome and the bumper is also different.
Also, to keep it classy, I'd include/keep front bumper bar lights.

im not having too much chrome. just like the 3rd gen radas.....

im definatly keeping my KS grille...not changing that sucker lol! plus i like the paras better than the diamante lights...

but if u block those vents up completely or just one vent see how it looks

Did a search on Google for Magna & Diamante fronts.
Found this - don't think I've seen it before (maybe others have).

I chose neither also, the large vens just allow people to see straight through. IMO it needs mesh or something/ jus my 2 cents

Well I prefer the small vents but the diamante overall. Although a lip along with the small vents may work:think:

out of the two, perhaps te small inlets, but imho something is needed on the lower part, perhaps a splitter/riser might set it of, or two risers?

[shrugs] maybe a pickup lip across the bottom might bring it up.

I don't follow. Are you wanting to keep it stock or are you wanting opinions on front bars? Or are you modding the existing bar that is on the car? If so, leave it how it is. Big holes leading nowhere can look funny. Kinda like useless bonnet scoops.

i want to use either a standard TR or KR front bumper. i do not want a huge front bar because i drive onto building sites and go camping heaps and dont want the thing to get ripped off by uneven ground.

i only want to to little mods (if any) to the standard bar...... savvy?

Ok here's what you do, you get another bar, turn it upside down, cut it in half and stick it to the bottom of your existing bumper.....lol

P.S. I fixed up pauls dodgy attempt at fixing the dinged bumper, so if you want a copy of the image normal i can arrange it. Still trying to decide what to do with the bumper.....will post here the pic when its done. Though i shoudl get some work done, got heaps to do.

btw TUFFTR, if u ever go to see M4DDOG's 3rd gen, be sure you dont rub too hard against his paint work.....coz that paint will shred your skin right off!!
